Session on the ROI of innovation & design
In 2014 Craft House Founder and Director, Yvette Jong, moderated a session on the "ROI of Innovation and Design.” The Indonesia Hotel conference was one of the first in Indonesia by Horwath HTL. At the time, hospitality conferences typically focused on finance and investment, while missing an integral piece to the success of any hospitality brand – the effect of branding, creativity, and innovating to drive ROI. Yvette put together a panel on innovation with Panelists including Peter Mack, Executive Director of Landor, a global strategic brand consulting and design firm, Vinc(e) Math, bamboo strategy consultant for PT Bambu Pure, and Fiona Foxon from Handy. The panel successfully discussed the merits of risk taking in an industry that leans towards traditional methodologies in design, technology and operations.
